Congressional Hispanic Caucus Names Policy Director
The Congressional Hispanic Caucus has announced Estefanía L. Rodríguez as their new Policy Director. She most recently worked for Congressman Hank Johnson (D-GA) as a Senior Legislative Assistant, where she focused on agriculture, financial services, and labor policy issues and advised the Congressman on his work on the Transportation and Infrastructure Committee. Rodríguez was previously a Senior Legislative Assistant for Congresswoman Nanette Diaz Barragán (D-CA), where she managed the immigration, housing, and judiciary policy portfolios and assisted on the Congresswoman’s work on the Committee on Homeland Security. She also worked on the GOP side, having previously worked as a Legislative Assistant to Congresswoman Jenniffer González-Colón (R-PR). The 2011 University of Florida graduate, who earned her law degree at American University, is a member of the Hispanic Bar Association and fluent in English and Spanish. More here.
