Will Nikki Haley Spill the Tea in New Book?
Former U.S. Ambassador to the UN Nikki Haley will release a "deeply personal” book this fall detailing her experiences as both UN Ambassador and Governor. Her publisher released a statement saying Haley’s book would share “the consequential actions, decisions, confrontations, and behind-the-scenes negotiations that shaped national and world events.” It’s the word “confrontations” that has some wondering if the 47-year-old former Governor of South Carolina will use the still-untitled book as a way to distance herself from some of the Trump administration’s decisions during her time as UN Ambassador. “There were tragedies and triumphs, but through it all my love for America has only grown. My hope with this book is to give people a unique window into recent history and inspire us toward a better future,” Haley said. She left the administration last fall with speculation that she is working to lay the foundation for a 2024 run for president. During the press conference announcing her departure, she was not too distant -- she committed to hitting the campaign trail for Trump in 2020. Haley recently launched a new group, Stand For America, to push for policies both domestically and internationally focused on border security and public safety; term limits; socialism; and American culture.
