Kamala Harris Names Deputy Chief of Staff
Senator Kamala (D-CA) has tapped Josh Hsu as her Deputy Chief of Staff. He previously served as General Counsel in her Senate office, where he worked on a range of issues including criminal justice, civil rights, intellectual property and copyright, and other issues with the Judiciary Committee’s scope. Prior to that, he worked for the Judiciary Committee under Senator Patrick Leahy (D-VT), where he was Chief Counsel for nominations. Hsu also worked at various law firms and as an attorney at the ACLU. He earned his Bachelor’s and law degree at Georgetown University. His appointment to Deputy Chief of Staff makes Harris’ top two Senate staffers Asian American. More here.
