Thurgood Marshall College Fund Names Terrence J National Ambassador
The Thurgood Marshall College Fund (TMCF) announced that actor and activist Terrence J would serve as the organization’s new TMCF National Ambassador. The 36-year-old North Carolina A&T State University graduate was a previous TMCF scholarship recipient and participated in TMCF events as a student. A proud member of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc., Terrence J served as a presenter at the TMCF 31st Anniversary Awards Gala and was recently named as the host of the 2019 NAACP Image Awards. He has appeared in popular films including Think Like a Man and The Perfect Match, and he was also the host BET’s 106 & Park and co-anchor of E! News. “It is an honor to be the new Thurgood Marshall College Fund National Ambassador,” said Terrence J. “As a product of a publicly-supported HBCU, I look forward to using my platform to highlight, promote and put a big spotlight on TMCF, and the 47 member- schools they represent because I know first hand the value of HBCUs.” More here.
