Congresswoman Lucy McBath (D-GA) has named Joon Suh as her Chief of Staff. He was previously the Legislative Director and Chief Policy Advisor for Congresswoman Terri Sewell (D-AL), where his portfolio included tax and other economic issues under the jurisdiction of the House Ways and Means Committee. Before coming to Capitol Hill, Suh was a Policy Advisor for Third Way’s Economic Program, where he worked with business leaders, economic experts, and leading academics to devise and advance policies that help increase middle-class prosperity. He also previously served as a Senior Economic Policy Advisor to former CA Congressman Mike Honda, Senior Advisor for Research and Messaging at Thirty-Ninth Street Strategies, Senior Economic Policy Associate at Venn Strategies, LLC, and as a Legislative Assistant to former AL Congressman Artur Davis. The 2003 University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign graduate, who went on to his MBA and MPA at Auburn University, began his career as a Research Director at polling and political research firm Anzalone Liszt Grove Research. More about him here
