Tulsi Gabbard Names Rania Batrice Campaign Manager

Rania Batrice will serve as the Campaign Manager for HI Democratic Congresswoman Tulsi Gabbard’s 2020 presidential campaign. The daughter of Palestinian immigrants was the Deputy Campaign Manager and Iowa Communications Director for Senator Bernie Sanders (I-VT) presidential campaign in 2016. She also served as the National Director of Surrogates. Following the 2016 primary, Batrice led progressive outreach and collaboration efforts for the DNC. She also founded Batrice & Associates, a communications, organizing, and legislative strategy firm that advises elected officials, candidates, nonprofits, and companies. She was previously a Senior Political Advisor and Iowa Director for former VA Senator Jim Webb’s 2016 presidential run and was the Campaign Manager to George Sinner for Congress. The 2003 Austin College graduate has served in a variety of senior-level roles for nonprofits, including as the Executive Director of both The Innocence Project of Texas and the Freedom Project. More about her here.
