Mobolaji Dawodu has been named Fashion Director of GQ, where he’ll oversee fashion for both GQ and GQ Style brands. He previously worked at GQ Style as a Fashion Editor, where he styled A-list celebrities and award-winning artists including Kendrick Lamar, Brad Pitt,Jared Leto, and Mahershala Ali. Prior to that, the Nigerian American was the Style Editor-at-Large for Fader Magazine. Dawodu also has also worked as the costume designer on films with actors and actresses of color in leading and supporting roles, including the 2016 Disney film Queen of Katwe, starring Lupita Nyong’o, and holds numerous commercial advertising credits, including with Nike and Apple.
