Javier Vega has joined Telemundo’s DC bureau as a Correspondent. He had previously been with Noticias Telemundo in Mexico. The trilingual reporter -- he is fluent in English, French, and Spanish -- began his career as a local reporter at Televisa Puebla. Later, he joined Milenio where he specialized in political affairs covering the Congress and Senate, the State Department, and the president. As part of the outlet’s Special Affairs team, he produced reports and anchored newscasts on Milenio Televisión. Vega was also an investigative journalist on Televisa’s Punto de Partida with Denise Maerker -- a bi-weekly show covering social, political, and security issues, and an anchor and Reporter at the teleSUR network.
