DNC Names New Director of Hispanic Media
The DNC has named Enrique Gutiérrez as the new Hispanic Media Director for the 2018 election cycle. The campaign veteran will also serve as the Southern Regional Press Secretary for the Committee. The bilingual California native -- fluent in English and Spanish -- joins the DNC after serving as Communications Director for Voto Latino. Gutiérrez has also worked in various competitive electoral races, most recently in Arizona for the Arizona state Democratic Party, and in Texas, where he worked for Sylvester Turner’s mayoral campaign in 2015. The 2009 California State University at Northridge graduate went on to earn his Master's from George Washington University in 2014. More about him here.
