VP Leaves Charter Communications

Howie Hodges is leaving his post as VP of External Affairs at Charter Communications. The Morehouse graduate, who earned his law degree from the University of Pittsburgh and is a member of Alpha Phi Alpha fraternity, will remain in DC to pursue entrepreneurial opportunities. Hodges, a long time Public Affairs exec, has held numerous senior positions at companies like Bank of America, One Economy Corporation, and Time Warner Cable before they merged with Charter. His interim replacement will be Laura Berrocal, Charter’s Senior Director of Policy and External Affairs. The Temple University grad, who earned her MPA from George Washington University, has been with the company for just over a year after serving as Director of Public Affairs for CTIA. More here.
