In her new role, she will be tasked with ensuring Twitter’s campaigns and programs are inclusive and “reflective of the communities we serve.” Externally, Rivera will be responsible for developing relationships and programs with content creators, community leaders, brands, and more. The Bronx native was most recently Director for Inclusion & Cultural Resonance at global ad agency VMLY&R, where she led internal diversity efforts.
