Leadership Changes at NeighborWorks America
Marietta Rodríguez, a national leader in the housing and community development field, recently began her tenure as President and CEO of NeighborWorks America -- a congressionally chartered nonprofit organization that supports community development in the U.S. and Puerto Rico. She has been with NeighborWorks for 20 years, most recently serving as its interim SVP for National Initiatives. The 1990 Lake Forest College graduate is fluent in English and Spanish. The organization has also brought on Michelle Hudgins as SVP for Public Relations. She joins from the National Education Association, where she held various senior roles in the press and communications department. The Hampton University graduate -- who also holds a Master’s from Virginia Commonwealth University and one from American University -- also worked at the American Red Cross, the International Basketball League, and the Wright Agency. Marco Moses has also recently joined the ranks as SVP for Procurement. Prior to joining NeighborWorks, he served as Deputy Director of IT and as a Financial Management Procurement Officer for the Department of Housing and Urban Development. The Bowie State University grad -- who also holds a Master’s from the University of Maryland at College Park and another from George Washington University -- previously worked as a Contract Specialist at the Department of Transportation.
