He’s running. Likely. Former Obama-era HUD Secretary Julián Castro told Rolling Stone that he will "likely" run for president in 2020. While he has made comments indicating his interest in the past, this is the strongest signal that he has sent this year. "I’m likely to do it. I have a strong vision for the country. I believe that our country’s going in the wrong direction and that it needs new leadership," said Castro. "I’ll make a final decision after November, but I’m inclined to do it.” He still says that he will make a "final decision" after November's midterm elections. Read the full interview here.
